Cookie (クッキー Kukkī) is a Japanese manga magazine published monthly by Shueisha. As of 2008, the circulation is about 175,000. It started publishing around 1999, making Nana one of it's first series. Nana may also be considered one of Cookie's most popular series.
Cookie is the sister magazine of the long-running, Ribon. Ribon Comic, another monthly magazine which was also a sister magazine of Ribon, changed its title to Bouquet (ぶ〜け) in 1978. Bouquet stopped publication in March 2000. Many of the Bouquet authors went on to Cookie.
